Guar gum also called guaran is galactoman polysaccharide extracted from guar seeds which has thickening and stabilizing properties that are useful in food, feed, and industrial applications. Guar seeds are mechanically removed, hydrated, ground and filtered according to application. This is usually produced as a free flowing white loose powder.
Used for food and beverage additives that function as thickeners.
